CMS Releases 2020 MPFS Final Rule – 90 day reporting for 2020

Ready for some great news?

You now have significantly more time to implement EyeMD EMR 2.0!

On Friday, 11/1/19, CMS released the 2020 Final Rule, which eases the administrative burden on your practice. The Final Rule reduces the reporting period to 90 days for 2020 and beyond. This allows you to focus on your practice and your patients by providing you plenty of breathing room to update to 2.0.

While EyeMD EMR has ZERO intention of letting off the gas on our 2.0 Roll-out, if you’d prefer to ease into the upgrade at your own pace, just reach out and let us know! Even if you’ve already scheduled your upgrade, we’ll be glad to adjust your scheduled roll-out to better fit the needs of your practice.

Our #1 goal is to always put your practice first. We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop on news related to CMS, MIPS, the EyeMD EMR 2.0 Roll-out and any other happenings that may have an impact on your practice. As we continue to progress through the 2.0 roll-out, expect more frequent communications via the Client Newswire and e-mail alerts. Thank you for your continued partnership!

Worldwide Cloud Outage Impact

A software update from the cybersecurity company CrowdStrike has inadvertently disrupted IT systems globally. Although most of our systems were unaffected, our primary remote support tool (LogMeIn Rescue) is currently offline. Consequently, our remote support capabilities have been impacted. Our support team is unable to access customer systems using this tool. However, we can connect to remote systems using an alternative, customer-initiated tool. As a result, we are unable to perform certain remote tasks, which may lead to support delays and cancellations. Additionally, our credit card processing partner, Nexio, is currently unable to process credit card transactions, and certain eligibility checks are failing. We thank
